This week we saw what was likely one of the best product launches that Apple has ever done with one noted exception. The iPod line was tight with design elements and core values spreading from the Shuffle bottom to the iPod Touch top. AppleTV hit its price points and while it is still content challenged, as are all devices in its class, it is actually a credible product in a segment that is owned by cable and satellite companies. Apple did showcase one weakness as their plan to stream the event to Apple customers only not only showcased their relatively closed approach to communications, but their relative inexperience, because most folks on Macs couldn’t get the stream to work.
