The rumor mill has it that Palm is shopping itself around. Bloomberg says they are working with investment bankers like Goldman Sachs and Qatalyst Partners, and that HTC or Lenovo might be possible acquirers. Perhaps, but I don’t think HTC would want them at this point. What does Palm bring to the table that HTC doesn’t have?

But Palm isn’t going down just yet: AT&T will be bringing the Pre Plus and Pixi Plus to its customer base. It may help Palm to buy some time and bridge the gap to new products, including plug-in compatibility for its operating system.
