Google announced Chrome 10 with $14,837 worth of security fixes and numerous feature additions such as GPU acceleration, background web apps, sandboxed Flash as well as a faster JavaScript engine.  There is also a new tab feature for the developer version of the browser. In separate news, Google also announced a faster V8 video encoder, instant previews for Android as well as iOS and released a Chrome OS update that rendered Cr-48 Chromebooks useless for many users last weekend.
