Google today updated the Beta Channel of Chrome OS, which also includes the latest beta version of Chrome Beta, which was also refreshed today.
The new R11 of Chrome OS Beta carries the version number 0.11.257.44 and includes the Chrome browser version 11.0.696.34. The new OS uses Pepper/PPAPI to run the Flash player by default to improve the stability and security of the software. Other changes include Wi-Fi fixes, support for 3G GSM, as well as a new window switcher UI.
The browser itself covers several minor bugfixes. Users of the developer channel can also try a new option that can be called via chrome://crashes in the URL bar to see details about Chrome crashes and their logs.
