1. Clan Wars

Games are always a matter of taste, but I would say that semi-automated war strategy games are among the most captivating (and, as a result, time consuming) casual Flash games today. There is a wide variety of choices, beginning with the rather simple Stick War, to the popular Age of War. We have made our way through those and got recently hooked on Clan Wars. The goal is to strategically build an army that is strong enough to destroy your opponent’s castle. Your soldiers get stronger and more expensive over time, but they are more expensive as well. To win Clan Wars, you need to build the right number of soldiers, find the most effective upgrades at any given time to get an edge over the computer player. You will have to use spells and the clan hero to defend your territory and attack the enemy. If you win the “easy” level, you can see how you do in “normal” and “hard”.
